The August monthly meeting for iPlugDelaware will be held at 7:30 am on Tuesday August 18, 2015, at the Panera Bread in the Fairfax Shopping Center (2311 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803). The meeting will be held in the community room in the back of the restaurant. Meetings normally last about one hour and are held on the third Tuesday of each month. As a reminder, our meetings are free to attend, no registration is needed, and the meetings are open to anyone that works in the legal community.
This month we will again discuss the upcoming release of iOS 9, the recent update of iOS 8.4.1, and rumors about the next version of the iPhone (expected to be announced next month). We will also show off some of our favorite productivity apps, and have plenty of time for questions or demonstrations of apps from those in attendance.
We look forward to another great meeting, and encourage anyone that has been considering attending, to stop in for your first meeting. Please feel free to attend even if you do not currently have an iPad or iPhone, but you are curious on how the devices may improve your practice.
What better way to start your Saint Patrick’s Day than talking about the iPad, iPhone, MacBook, and Apple Watch. Our March iPlug meeting will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015, at the Panera Bread in Fairfax at 7:30 am. Panera is located at 2311 Concord Pike, Wilmington Delaware. The meetings are held in the back room of the restaurant. Normally meetings last about 1 hour.
As always it is free to attend our meetings and no registration is necessary. If you have never attended a meeting, they are informal and are a chance for users in the legal community to share their experience using mobile technology in their practice and to learn from the experiences of others. It doesn’t matter if you are an attorney, a Judge, a paralegal, a law student or other support staff, if you are associated with the legal community and you are interested in mobile technology, please join us Tuesday morning.
Last Monday’s Spring Forward announcement by Apple will be thoroughly discussed, including initial thoughts on the Apple Watch, the new 12″ MacBook, ResearchKit, and the price reduction of the Apple TV. We will also discuss the release of iOS 8.2 and Apple’s public beta program for iOS. As always, the floor will also be open for attendee questions, discussion, and demonstrations.
Since our last meeting, we have also created a Facebook page and a Twitter account in order to provide even more updates to those interested in mobile technology. If you enjoy updates from iPlugDelaware, please like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter so you can interact with us on a more frequent basis. These new accounts make it even easier for you to communicate with us, ask questions, and share information.
